Of Victories and Wine – Asia Polo Cup 2020 with WoodenStreet

“What a powerful goal... He’s got the line... oh such a lovely tailback handler...”

Do these commentary lines remind you of Polo? They should, for a fresh scenario, teeming with excitement and possibilities, presented itself on the Rajasthan Polo Club grounds in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

By now, you must have many questions along the lines of:

A) Being a furniture brand, why are we talking about Polo?

B) Why’s there a mention of Asia Polo Cup, 2020?

Enough teasing, let’s draw the curtains for the main act. WoodenStreet was proud to be present during two memorable Polo Club events at RPC grounds, Jaipur, on 1st Feb 2020. The first was the Asia Cup 2020 between Singapore Colts and Jaipur Polo, and the second was the Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Memorial Cup between RPC and Malarpan.

The matches were exciting, indeed. But no matter the scorecards, everyone enjoys gossip. So much that even when the matches ended, people’s conversations didn’t.
As the sun began to settle, so did the guests. Everyone launched into pockets of conversations about the eventful day. And WoodenStreet’s furniture was a sight for sore eyes for all the guests to ‘let the conversations continue’.

The artful, baroque furniture pieces were the center of attraction for all the guests at the event.

It is evident from the pictures that everyone loved the comfort and quality craftsmanship of furniture, handcrafted by the artisans of Rajasthan.

His highness, Padmanabh Singh, the king of Jaipur, also launched the first issue of WoodenStreet's Decor Magazine at the event, which features stories, ideas, interviews and tips to feed the curiosity of decor and interior designing enthusiasts.

So yeah, good times!
Now, we can say that this match is over. But even through victories, defeats and unending conversations (that did end, ironically), it’s the memories of fun and comfort that will live forever. And WoodenStreet strives to be on this journey to accomplish more which makes us a happy family… bonded with love.
