Today, we are sharing some glimpses of the journey of seasoned hardwood to a well-crafted, finely coated and beautifully upholstered Orchid Arm Chair, ready to be dispatched to our customers.

The whole process starts with the wood logs, we use premium quality hardwood that is durable and easy to maintain. These wood logs are cut precisely into the desired shapes and handed to the skilled craftsmen for carving.

The highlight of Orchid armchair is its beautifully carved and crafted legs. We have a dedicated team of artisans that are expert carvers. The entire carving process, from legs to armrests and backrest is completed by the team precisely to achieve the desired look of the chair.

Once the carving is done, the different parts of this armchair are sent to a team to assemble the desired frame. This frame is cleaned, sanded and furnished, and then transferred to the next team. With sanding and cleaning, this raw frame gets a levelled finish, even on all fronts.

Once the frame is ready, the foundation of webbing is prepared. Polypropylene straps are used for the webbing to ensure a sag-free sitting experience. This is an important step in order to achieve a sturdy base for the padding.

Now the sanded raw wooden frame of the chair is passed to the team that applies appropriate wood finish selected by the customers. This step is done with perfection to bring a natural gloss and glam up the game of elegance.

In the next step, padding is done. The foam used in padding is of high density, that ensures the optimum levels of comfort, not losing its shape and lasting long. The seat and the backrest are now padded separately with layers of polyurethane foam that is further covered with a hand-sewn layer of premium fabric, as chosen by the customer.

To clean up all loose end, the whole chair is inspected, and any irregularities are snipped off using a sharp pair of thread snippers, ensuring an even surface and a wholesome look.

Like each furniture made in our manufacturing unit, Orchid armchair too goes for visual inspection and quality checks to the respective Inspectors. This the most important step before packaging and dispatch for the delivery. Our QC Inspectors examine the chair as per industrial norms and ensure that it looks exactly as expected by the customer while providing adequate comfort.

After passing the evaluation process with full marks, the Orchid Armchair is tagged and boxed for shipment out of the manufacturing unit.
