Day by day, the COVID-19 is spreading across the globe despite the best efforts of the government. This threat is causing many deaths, raising many doubts and affecting many countries.

Adding to that, on 19th March at 8 PM, our honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi addressed the nation. He talked about ways to fight coronavirus pandemic. He urged everyone to help the government in fighting the pandemic and declared a 'Janta Curfew' on Sunday, March 22, 2020. In this attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus, which has affected over more than 200 people in India, the citizens should stay indoors between 7 AM to 9 PM.
The Janta Curfew, PM explained, is a curfew of the people, by the people, for the people to fight COVID-19. He further added that, “The Janta Curfew on March 22 will help us acquaint ourselves with self-isolation.” Also, this will help Indians in preparing for the coming hardships.
"On March 22, 5:00 pm, we all should extend gratitude towards those who are fulfilling their duties in these times," says PM Modi. In order to show our gratitude, everyone should applaud or clank utensils at doorsteps or balconies of their home.
People from different walks of life are supporting and urging the nation to come together to make Janta Curfew more effective. After all, this is India’s mass response in the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
So, it’s time to be collectively responsible for everything!
